Connect through MCP

Use the endpoint https://apitoolcalls.com/mcp in a client that supports remote MCP over Streamable HTTP:

Send tools/list to discover tools, then tools/call with a name and arguments. The examples below are JSON-RPC requests sent by POST to the MCP endpoint.

Free: 20 calls a day per IP with no key. The $9.99/mo agent key gives 1,000 calls a month. Send it as Authorization: Bearer <key>.

Free calls also share a global cap of 2000 calls a day across all users. Per-tool caps across all users: get_transcript: 500 calls a day; page_to_markdown: 1000 calls a day. Resets at midnight UTC.

Read the plain-text agent catalog (llms.txt) or the machine-readable catalog (tools.json).

HTTP GET routes accept query parameters; POST routes accept a JSON body. For GET /api/data-finder, use q for the use_case argument. Other argument names match the tables below.

find_data

Read public YouTube captions as timestamped plain text. Captions only, no video or audio.

make_barcode

Make an SVG barcode. Validates retail check digits and lengths. GS1-128 and GS1 DataMatrix accept bracketed (01)GTIN(17)YYMMDD(10)lot; use make_qr for QR codes.

read_barcode

Read every barcode in a base64 PNG, JPEG or WebP (or data URL). At most 2 MB decoded and 4000 by 4000 pixels. Returns text, format, corner positions and GS1 product number, expiry and lot when present.
