How to use this tool

Use your location or pick your hotel or address from the list, select a distance, and optionally head in a direction or pass by a place. Then make loops. Compare the mapped routes, choose one to open walking directions, download GPX, or run it here.

Frequently asked questions

How exact is the distance?

Generated loops are within 3% of your target distance. Moving stops can change the distance; edited loops outside 3% are marked in amber. Sparse areas may return fewer loops or none.

Does it work in Google Maps?

Google Maps opens walking directions through 8 stops along the loop and may pick its own path between them. The GPX and the live dot on this page keep the exact loop.

Can I use the GPX on a watch?

Download the GPX track and import it into a watch or fitness app that supports GPX routes.

Is it free, and do I need an account?

Yes. It is free to use and does not require an account.

Is the route safe?

Routes follow mapped walkable streets and paths. Preferences shape the route; they never promise safety or current conditions.

Where does the route data come from?

Map and route data come from OpenStreetMap contributors under the ODbL. Routing and elevation use Valhalla on FOSSGIS servers.
