PNG to JPG Converter
JPG is selected by default. Transparent areas become white. A higher quality setting usually keeps more detail and makes a larger file; lowering it can add visible compression artifacts.
Images above 33,554,432 pixels or 32,768 pixels on either side are reduced automatically to fit the browser.
Uses the browser canvas encoder; no third-party conversion library.
How to use this tool
Choose PNG images, leave JPG selected, adjust quality, then press Convert images and save each JPG.
Frequently asked questions
Is it free, and are my files uploaded?
It is free, with no sign up. Files are read and processed entirely in your browser. Nothing is uploaded or stored by API Tool Calls.
What happens to transparent PNG areas?
JPG does not support transparency. Transparent areas become white, including partially transparent edges. Choose PNG or WebP in the output menu if you need transparency.
What does the quality setting change?
The default JPG quality is 90%. Higher settings usually keep more detail and produce larger files; lower settings may show artifacts. This percentage is a browser encoder setting, not a guarantee of file size or visual fidelity.
Can I convert a batch of PNG files?
Yes. Choose several images and save each converted JPG. Images above 33,554,432 pixels or 32,768 pixels on either side are reduced to fit the browser. Animated images become a single still frame.
