Make and check your payment code

1. Find your public identifier. Check your payment account for its username, PayPal.Me name, or Cash App $cashtag. Use an existing profile you control. Creating a QR image here does not create a payment account.
2. Find your payment link. Find the public profile or payment link in Venmo, PayPal.Me, or Cash App. Use the service where you already have the account you want to share. The same spelling on two services does not prove they belong to the same person.
3. Paste the public payment link. Copy the complete public payment link from your account and paste it into Text or URL with Text or link selected. Do not enter an email, password, or phone number in place of the payment link. Check the account's exact spelling.
4. Save the QR image. Download PNG for an image or SVG for scalable artwork. Pixels are not a physical print size. The tool uses dark squares on a light background.
5. Scan and inspect. Open the code on a second phone. Follow the link and check that the profile belongs to the intended recipient. A preview appearing here only means a code was made; it does not verify the account.
6. Share with a clear label. Put the service name and your public username next to the image. Ask senders to check the recipient and amount in the payment app before confirming.

Venmo, PayPal.Me, and Cash App links

Venmo, PayPal.Me, and Cash App provide public profile or payment links. Copy your real link from the service rather than guessing it from an email address. A PayPal.Me name is its own link name, so check it in your account.

The QR tool stores the complete profile or payment link you paste. If your service supplies a link with an amount, paste that tested address into Text or URL. The QR tool does not set an amount or assemble a payment address.

A worked example: sharing with a friend

Suppose your existing Venmo username is Alex-Rivera. Paste the complete profile link into Text or URL. The code contains https://venmo.com/u/Alex-Rivera. This username is an illustration, not a verified recipient: use your own account. Download PNG, scan it, and compare the resulting profile with the one in your app. Add “Venmo: @your-actual-username” beside your finished code so a friend has a second way to check it.

Limits and account changes

The QR code opens a link. This generator does not collect money, confirm a transfer, issue a receipt, or set the service's fees. The payment app handles those actions under its own account rules. Seeing a scan or an open profile is not proof that payment was completed.

Your code is static, with no generator expiry timer. You cannot edit its destination after download or count scans here. If your payment link changes, generate a replacement and reprint your signs. A closed account or disabled link can stop working even though the QR image remains readable.

Printing and troubleshooting

Print the code at least 2 cm / 0.8 in wide, larger for a sign viewed from a distance. Leave the supplied blank quiet margin untouched. Use a sharp PNG or scalable SVG and test the finished paper before printing many copies.

If the camera cannot read it, improve lighting and increase the size. If the wrong profile opens, check both the chosen service and username. If a link fails, compare it with the service's own shared profile link. Account or payment errors need the service's support; making another image cannot fix them.
