Copy the profile you want to share

1. Find your own public link. In LinkedIn's mobile app, tap your profile photo, then tap it again to open your profile. Open the More menu beside Add section, choose Contact info, and copy the address under Your Profile. On a computer, use Me, then View Profile, and find Public profile & URL on the right.
2. Choose a person or company. A personal address usually contains /in/. To share an organization instead, open its public company page in a browser and copy that page's address. Avoid an editing screen or your home feed.
3. Paste your own link. Choose Text or link and paste your full profile or company-page link into Text or URL. Include https:// and check the spelling.
4. Check access before downloading. Open the link in a browser where you are signed out. Check the person's name and the visible information. Then download the code and test the saved image before putting it into a layout.

A badge for a job fair

Suppose you are handing out a résumé at a job fair. Use your personal profile link and label the code “View my LinkedIn profile.” Put your name beside it. Use a separate company-page code for a hiring booth.

What stays inside the code

The code stores the link itself, not a copy of your résumé, a connection request, or a redirect through our site. Our code never expires. The downloaded image can still be read if this generator closes. Your entered link stays in your browser while you create and download it.

The profile must still exist at that address. Deleting it, changing its public URL, or hiding it can stop visitors reaching the intended information. A display-name change is different from a URL change. After a rename, check the old link instead of assuming it still works. If you need a different address, make a new code and replace the printed copies.

Public access and LinkedIn's own code

LinkedIn controls profile visibility and may ask visitors to sign in. A public profile can show less than a signed-in member sees. This code cannot reveal hidden sections or grant access. Check what a new visitor sees before using it on material meant for everyone.

LinkedIn already offers a personal QR code: open the app's Search bar QR button, then My code. That is useful for sharing your profile within its networking flow. Use this generator when you want SVG artwork for print, a company-page link, or to create an image in a browser without the app.

Print and fix common problems

Make the printed code at least 2 cm / 0.8 in wide, with dark squares on a light background. Keep the blank quiet margin clear of text and borders. SVG scales for a badge layout; PNG size describes pixels, not paper size. Test one finished badge before printing many, and make the code larger if the pattern is hard to read.

If no link appears, check the entire square is visible and try steady hands and better lighting. If a link appears but the profile is unavailable, open the pasted address directly and check public visibility, login requirements, and your internet connection. A readable code cannot repair a broken profile link.
