Review QR code generator
A Google review QR code helps customers reach your business's review page from a receipt, sign, or thank-you card. Copy the correct review link, make a code, and offer the same link to every customer who wants to share an honest experience.
Select Text or link in the QR tool and paste your complete link into Text or URL.
Get the link and make your code
- Open the correct profile. Sign in to the account that manages your Google Business Profile and open the profile for the location you want customers to review. Use a computer browser for these steps.
- Copy the review link. Select Read reviews, then Get more reviews, then Copy. These are the current steps in the official link-sharing guide. Copy the provided review link, rather than the address of your management dashboard.
- Paste into Text or URL. Choose Text or link and paste the full web address. Keep the complete link, including
https://, and avoid adding words or punctuation from the surrounding message. - Save the QR image. The tool uses dark squares on a light background. Download PNG for an image or SVG for a print layout.
- Test without posting a review. Scan the code on another phone and check that it reaches the right business's review flow. Confirm the location if you manage several branches. You do not need to submit a review to test the destination.
A worked example: a repair receipt
Imagine you run a bike repair shop with one location. Copy its review link into the field and download the code. Add it to a test receipt with the words “Share your experience: scan to leave an honest review.” Scan the printed receipt and check the destination. Then use the same wording and link on every customer's receipt, regardless of whether their visit went smoothly.
Offer help with a complaint as part of your normal service, while leaving the public review option available. A customer can choose to leave a review later or skip it. Ask them to use their own phone and account; do not hand over a shop device or ask them to sign in on yours.
Invite honest feedback from everyone
Do not screen customers with a satisfaction question before showing the review link. Do not direct some customers to public reviews while sending others only to a private form. Everyone gets the same link, and no one should be pressured to post particular wording.
Offer no incentives: no discounts, gifts, free services, or prize entries in return for a review. These requests must be voluntary and based on a real experience. The review policy prohibits incentives and selectively seeking positive feedback.
Understand the static link
The image contains the link you pasted. It does not add a redirect through this generator, display customer reviews, or show star ratings. Your input is processed in your browser and is not sent to us. Customers follow the link to the destination service to write their review.
The static code cannot be edited or used to count scans here. There is no generator expiry timer, but the destination must remain available. If the review link changes, make a new code and reprint your receipts and signs. Save the tested link with your print file.
Print and fix common problems
Give the code at least 2 cm / 0.8 in of width and use more room on a sign. Keep the blank quiet margin around it, use dark squares on a light background, and avoid folds through the image. Test one finished receipt before printing many.
If it will not scan, try a clearer or larger print. If it opens the wrong location, recopy the link from the correct profile. If it opens a sign-in page, the customer may need to sign into their own Google Account. If the destination fails entirely, test the copied link directly before generating another image.
