Read public YouTube captions as timestamped text. Captions only, no video or audio. Try captions on the web.

• url (required string): YouTube video URL or an 11-character video id.
• lang (optional string): preferred language code, such as en or pt-BR; defaults to en. Falls back to English, then another available caption track; it does not translate captions.

resume_gap
