Frequently asked questions
Is it free, and are my files uploaded?
It is free, with no sign up. Files are read and processed entirely in your browser. Nothing is uploaded or stored by API Tool Calls.
Can I save only certain PDF pages as PNG?
Yes. Enter all, individual page numbers, or ranges such as 1-3, 7. Save each PNG separately or save all selected images in one ZIP.
How do scale and page limits work?
1x renders at 72 pixels per inch, 2x at 144 and 3x at 216. Higher scale uses more memory. Each PDF must have 200 pages or fewer; very large pages need a lower scale.
Can I convert a password-protected PDF?
No. Encrypted and password-protected PDFs are rejected. Use a working, unencrypted copy.
Does PNG output preserve transparency or selectable text?
No. PDF pages render on white, and the output is a still image. PNG compression is lossless, but rendered text cannot be selected as text.
