Does my PDF leave this browser?

Your PDF never leaves the device. Editing runs in this browser without uploads or an account. The PDF reader and its fonts load from this site only when you open an existing PDF.

Will the downloaded form be fillable?

Yes. The download contains standard AcroForm fields for Acrobat, Chrome and Preview. Signature boxes are text fields labelled Signature, not digital signatures. Date fields include a MM/DD/YYYY tooltip hint; they do not enforce a date format.

What happens to existing fields or protected PDFs?

Existing fields stay in the PDF and appear in a read-only list. You can add new fields with different names. Encrypted or password-protected PDFs need an unencrypted copy.

How do I move, resize and save fields?

Choose a field in the toolbar and click a page, or focus a page and press Enter. Drag fields to move them and drag the corner handle to resize. Arrow keys move a selected field; Shift plus arrow resizes it; Delete removes it. Undo and redo keep the last 50 edits. Download to save: work stays in this tab only.
