EPUB to PDF Converter, Free, No Upload
Choose or drop one EPUB book, pick a page size and margins, then select Save as PDF or Download PDF.
Turn an e-book into a paged PDF for reading, printing or sharing. Chapters stay in reading order, with an optional cover, a title page and a linked table of contents. Reflowable text fits the paper size you choose.
Files never leave your browser. Limit: 300 MB per book (314,572,800 bytes), EPUB 2 or EPUB 3. Large books need more memory. DRM conversion is not attempted: copy-protected books and Kindle files are not supported.
After converting, use the PDF editor to add notes or rearrange pages, or compress PDF to make the result smaller.
The EPUB parser, ZIP reader and PDF library load only when you choose a file.
In the print window, choose Save as PDF as the destination.
On phones: Share > Print > Save, or choose the PDF destination in your browser’s print menu. Menu names vary by device.
Choose or drop one EPUB to start.
ZIP reading uses fflate (MIT). Quick PDF download uses pdf-lib (MIT).
Frequently asked questions
Are my books uploaded, and is it free?
No. Each file never leaves the device. This tool reads and processes files entirely in your browser, with nothing uploaded or stored by API Tool Calls. It is free, with no sign up.
Can I convert DRM or Kindle books?
DRM conversion is not attempted. Copy-protected EPUB books cannot be converted. Kindle files such as AZW, AZW3 and KFX are not EPUB and are not supported. Choose one unprotected EPUB 2 or EPUB 3 book, up to 300 MB (314,572,800 bytes).
Will the PDF look like my e-reader?
Reflowable text is laid out for the page size you pick: Letter, A4 or 6 by 9 inches. Margins and base font size change the page count. Save as PDF keeps supported book styles and fonts; exact e-reader pagination and fixed layouts are not guaranteed.
Are images and the table of contents included?
Yes. The converter reads chapters in spine order and adds an optional cover, a title page and a table of contents with links to book pages. Local images and fonts stay in the browser. Remote resources, scripts and embedded media are removed. Quick download includes JPG and PNG images and a PDF outline from the table of contents.
What is the difference between Save as PDF and Download PDF?
Save as PDF opens the browser print window: choose Save as PDF as the destination. It preserves selectable text, supported book fonts and any language. Download PDF creates a simpler Times layout immediately, with page numbers and chapter bookmarks. It supports WinAnsi characters, including common Western European accents; books with other characters must use Save as PDF.
Which browsers and phones can I use?
Use a current Chrome, Edge, Firefox or Safari with browser printing. On a phone, use Share > Print > Save, or the PDF destination offered by your browser. The print menus vary by device. Large books need available browser memory; desktop printing is easier to control. Quick download also works on phones for supported text.
