Frequently asked questions
Do my files leave my device?
No. Each file never leaves the device. PDFs are read and merged entirely in your browser, with nothing uploaded.
Can I change the file order?
Yes. Use Move up and Move down to arrange the files, or Remove to leave one out. The merged PDF contains all pages from each file in that order.
Can I merge encrypted or broken PDFs?
No. Encrypted PDFs, including password-protected files, are rejected with a clear error. A damaged PDF may also be unreadable. Remove that file or choose an unencrypted, working copy.
Are forms and bookmarks preserved?
This tool copies pages. Interactive forms, document bookmarks and digital signatures may not be preserved. Very large files can exceed your device’s available memory.
