Does my PDF leave this browser?
Your PDF never leaves the device. Conversion runs in this browser without uploads or an account. The PDF reader and its fonts load from this site when needed.
What does the download keep?
Text and simple tables only. Layout, images and fonts are not kept. Headings, paragraphs and table columns are guessed from text positions; check the preview and your downloaded file.
Can this tool read scans or protected PDFs?
This PDF is pictures of pages, not text. This tool can't read scans yet. PDFs without a text layer produce no download. Password-protected or encrypted PDFs need an unencrypted copy.
How are pages and numbers saved?
Word keeps page breaks. Excel saves one sheet per page, or all pages on one sheet with a blank row between pages. Recognized table numbers become numbers; percentages become fractions such as 0.12 for 12%. Other text goes in column A. PDFs above 200 pages show a warning.
