Do my files leave my device?
No. Each file never leaves the device. This tool reads and processes files entirely in your browser, with nothing uploaded or stored by API Tool Calls.
Can I convert an encrypted or broken PDF?
Encrypted or password-protected PDFs are rejected with a clear error. A broken PDF may also fail. Choose an unencrypted, working copy.
What do the scale choices mean?
1x renders at 72 pixels per inch, 2x at 144 and 3x at 216. Higher scales make larger images and use more device memory. JPG uses a white background; PNG also renders the page on white.
Is there a page limit?
Yes. PDFs over 200 pages are rejected before conversion. Split a larger document into smaller PDFs first. A page that exceeds the canvas size limit needs a lower scale.
