Frequently asked questions
Is HTML to PDF free, and is my document uploaded?
Yes, it is free with no account. Nothing is uploaded. Your text and files are processed only in your browser.
How do I download the PDF?
Select Preview document, then Save as PDF. Your browser opens its print dialog: select Save as PDF as the destination. This tool does not create an automatic PDF download. Print menu names vary by device.
Will images, styles and layout be preserved?
Remote images/CSS may not load: this tool blocks remote assets and removes scripts for a local preview. Embedded PNG, JPEG, GIF and WebP data images are supported. Relative files cannot be resolved. Complex layouts may shift. Review the preview and print settings before saving.
Does it run HTML scripts or forms?
No. Scripts, event handlers, forms and embedded frames are removed. The preview runs in a sandbox with scripts disabled. Use self-contained HTML with embedded styles; external stylesheets are blocked.
What are the limits?
Open one UTF-8 text file or paste up to 2 MB of text. Choose A4 or Letter and margins from 0.25 to 1.5 inches. Very long documents can use substantial browser memory; desktop printing is easier to control.
