Frequently asked questions
Does anything leave my device?
No. Your media never leaves the device. The camera, microphone and screen are used only in your browser; nothing is uploaded or recorded to our server. Access starts only when you press a button.
Can I record a screen on my phone?
Many phone browsers cannot share a screen. If screen recording is unavailable, try a desktop browser. No installation is needed.
How do audio, pause and stopping work?
Microphone audio is optional. Shared screen or tab audio is included when your browser provides it; the microphone is mixed with it. Pause excludes that time from the recording. Stop here or end sharing from the browser bar to finish and release all devices.
Which format will I save?
The tool prefers MP4 when supported, otherwise WebM with VP9 or VP8. The save link shows the format and file size. Play the preview to check it before saving.
