Do my files leave my device?
No. Each file never leaves the device. This tool reads and processes files entirely in your browser, with nothing uploaded or stored by API Tool Calls.
How does the aspect lock work?
The last width or height you edit sets that dimension. The other follows the original image’s ratio, separately for each image. Turn off the lock to set both dimensions, or choose a percentage.
Will the image stay sharp and keep its format?
Large reductions use repeated half-size draws followed by a final resize. JPG, PNG and WebP keep their format when your browser supports it; other formats become PNG. Animated images become a single still frame.
